At the Elizabeth Foundation in New York January 2015, I presented my research as the duality between the mystic and the absurd- I created 'a corner in the middle of the space/wall' in situ as the viewers watched-
and put up some diagrams and thoughts around the work.

this was an impulsive gesture I made using the remains/traces of two other artists showing their work earlier in the residency- 

the square tape mark was left from Paulo Piscitelli's installation
and the balloon from Claire Barratt's performance.

to me this is an absurd gesture- in that we all know how to charge up a balloon and make it stick to a wall--

but for some reason it makes me think of levitation and the absolute-

and the charging of atoms as poetic and meaningful.

For 'Dreamscapes' -- with all the chaos and stress of Karachi-- we managed to pull this off- as a self reflexive yet somewhat objective take on our need for collective harmony- always breaking into individual chaos.

I had used Max MSP to have the sound/video in the space be captured

and projected into different spaces within the space.
