middle-man was a role-playing performance where Abi Tariq highlighted the idea of being invisible within a cultural event such as the first Karachi Biennale. The performance was at once a collaboration with and a critical response to the Biennale specifically, but existing politics and hierarchies within cultural organisations in general. This performance resulted in the presence of the works of French artists: Virgile Fraisse, Jean Hubert, and La Horde.
